It's been a long time since I have added anything new to my blog. Just testing to make sure I am doing it correctly.

Fall 2007 Mammoth Cave Trip is in the History Book

Thanks to Jodi, Teresa, Sue, Karen, and Kathleen for coming on our scrapbooking weekend. We had a super time. I got 33 pages done, Jodi got 25-30 pages done, Teresa got about 30 pages done, and Karen finished so many pages that her Disney Album no longer fits in the box. WooHoo!!!! The weekend was productive for Sue and Kathleen too.

Sue, a special thanks to you for being our official Fruitcake phone answering service. We couldn't have had contact with our families without you.

We would also like to thank Melvin and the gang at Mammoth Cave Hotel for their hospitality. The food in the restaurant was great.

The Flippin Fruitcakes will be back at Mammoth Cave on February 29, 2008 for another fun and successful scrapbooking weekend.

Scrapbooking Dates to Remember

The next night for scrapbooking at my house is Friday, October 5. As always the time is 6pm - 12 midnight.

November 2, 2007 Scrapbook at my house.

November 9 - 11, 2007 Scrapbook Weekend at Mammoth Cave.

Look Out Mammoth Cave - Here We Come

I have finalized our Mammoth Cave trip. As some of you know, I had to change the date of our trip. We are now going the weekend of November 9-11. So far I have booked 3 rooms. I will book more rooms as we need them, provided I have enough to fill the room.

The total for the weekend will be $70 each. I hate to ask that you all make a deposit, but that way I will know who is coming for sure. So, it would be great if you are planning on going, please send me a deposit of $15 by October 15. That way I will know if I need more rooms or not too.

For those that didn't go with us last time, we will be staying at the Mammoth Cave Hotel. There is a cafe and restaurant on-site. The restaurant serves a breakfast buffet and dinner. The cafe serves lunch. If anyone wants to go to Scrapbook Village on Saturday, we can do that too.

I will email everyone my address to send the deposits to.

September Scrapbooking Date

Hey Fruitcakes:

We will be scrapbooking at my house on Friday, September 7, 2007 6 pm to midnight. Can't wait to see you all for a night of fun and fellowship.

The date for October scrapbooking weekend is going to have to be changed. Unfortunately, Jacob has a soccer tournament in Murray, KY that weekend and Lucas has a scout outing and football game. AAARGH!!! I will have more information soon about an alternate weekend.

WOOOHOOO! Ladies, I have been trying to think of a way to communicate to you guys on a more regular basis. A place where you can go to check for scrapbooking dates and a way for us to share ideas and information that we come across.
